The Bretels : “origineel bedacht, origineel gebracht”
En dan hebben we het niet over bretels die de broek omhoog houden maar over de band The Bretels; een band waar gezelligheid en muzikaliteit hand in hand gaan.
De Westfriese muzikanten deden veel ervaring op in bands als Sesam, Invitation, Copperfield, Nickname en the Deputies.
Onder het motto GSV (Gezelligheid Staat Voorop) wordt een zeer gevarieerd repertoire voorgeschoteld met Shadows, Beatles, Monkees, Kinks afgewisseld met NL-talige nummers en een portie Nederbeat van oa Earring, Racoon, Sandy Coast en ‘hits’ uit ons eigen Westfriesland.
De nadruk ligt op ‘lekkere’ nummers, die iedereen kent en waar óók nog uitstekend op gedanst kan worden.
Jan Steltenpool, Albert Hoogland, Simon Oud en Koos Blauw verzorgen een complete avond (of middag) met de gezellige sfeer uit de jaren “60-“70-“80 tot heden….
Eigenlijk moet je er gewoon zijn om het te beleven……
